This policy explains what personal data I handle when you request a quote on doczi.dev or email me, what I use it for, how long I keep it and what your rights are. Processing follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination.

2. What data I handle and why
I only handle the data you give me in the inquiry form or by email:
- your name and email address, so I can reply;
- the services you pick, your deadline, budget and message, so I can prepare a tailored quote.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Purpose: answering your inquiry, preparing a quote and staying in touch.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. If we sign a contract, I also process the data to perform it and to meet my legal obligations (such as accounting rules), under Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.
4. How long I keep the data
- If no engagement follows: I keep the inquiry data for TO BE COMPLETED: suggested 12 months from the last message, then delete it.
- If an engagement follows: until the contract is fulfilled and for as long as the law requires. Accounting records must be kept for 8 years under Hungarian Act C of 2000 on accounting.
- On request I delete your data earlier, unless the law requires me to keep it.
5. Who can access the data
I do not sell your data or pass it on for marketing. The following providers may access it as processors, only as far as needed to run the service:

6. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (such as Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
7. Cookies
doczi.dev currently uses no cookies. See the Cookie policy for details.
8. Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only I can access the data, and my accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
9. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- access: ask what data I hold about you (Article 15 GDPR);
- rectification: ask me to correct inaccurate data (Article 16);
- erasure: ask me to delete your data (Article 17);
- restriction: ask me to restrict processing (Article 18);
- portability: ask for your data in a machine-readable format (Article 20);
- objection: object to the processing (Article 21).
10. Requests and complaints
Send your request to tdoczi1@gmail.com. I reply within one month at the latest.
